Occasionally a client will experience, redness, itchiness or in extreme cases red bumps and even weeping bumps. We are not doctors, but we can advise you on what might clear it up, based on the shared experiences of hundreds of wearers.
Air
Firstly, the best cure is oxygen, so if you sleep alone, remove your hairpiece nightly to let the skin recover. If you do not sleep alone, but you are not a secret wearer. sleep in a bandana or nightcap for as many nights as you can. If you are a secret wearer, stay in the bathroom as long as you can with your hair off, as frequently as you can.
Cleanliness
Remove all traces of adhesive with adhesive remover, even if the remover irritates you. Then remove the remover with lace relase or alcohol. Then, even if you are very irritated, gently exfoliate in the shower with a facial scrub, and then use something like Clearasil face wash to really deep clean the scalp, because your irritation is probably an infection by now and you need to clean the pores.
Products
Until you are completely better, use the least irritating adhesive on the market, which is CoolPiece Cream Adhesive. Some users are applying liquid bandage products as a barrier before applying glue.
Seriously...
If you don't get better, please see a medical professional. We are not doctors and your health is your responsibility.
