Do you have injected lace or iLace? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, but since 2004 we have called it a silk sandwich. Our silk sandwich is not injected and it usually is not lace, (but it could be), so we don't feel quite right about the idea of calling it injected lace. Please see other FAQ answer for details, or search for silk sandwich.

There are two basic variants. Original 3 layer, with a nice smooth silk layer on the bottom or 2- layer with the lace and knots on the bottom and no third silk comfort layer. Each has silk as a top layer with the hairs individually poking through.

We recommend about an inch of normal lace with bleached knots at the hairline edge because silk sandwich does not provide a visually good hairline.
