Does the perm effect the hair? PDF Print E-mail

Unfortunately yes. The tighter curled hair will never feel quite as beautiful as the straighter hair. That's an issue with perm chemicals and it would be the same if you permed your own real straight hair.

Really tight curls, if not styled properly can appear frizzy if you brush out and mix up the ringlets, so if you order tight curls, you have to be aware of the correct styling techniques for tight hair.

If your hair is very curly, then you may find the hair would feel nicer if it were synthetic hair, as human hair quality is diminished so much by the perm process.
