Will my density affect my choice of base design? PDF Print E-mail
Yes. The borderline is around 85%. If your density is 90% or higher, you can have poly with gauze edges and a mono center and a lace front and none of the joins will be seen. If your density is 80% or lower, you should avoid requesting poly from temple-to-temple between the lace front and the main body of the unit and you should select the correct tint for your poly around the edges. Lighter than 80% and you should strongly consider, one piece of either lace or polyskin, no joins.
