What are Highlights? PDF Print E-mail

There two kinds of highlights, but basically it is like having a percentage of blond hair introduced into your darker hair.

  1. "Even" highlights are like gray hair, except blond or any lightyer color.
  2. "Spot" highlights look like streaks or chunks. They are usually blond, but occasionally we get asked for blue or something wacky.

It can be hard to understand the percentages when ordering highlights so if you see a picture in a magazine that shows what you want, send that with the order and we'l figue it out.

The highlighted hair will be the same color all the way from base to tip.

If in doubt, leave them out.
