Can Swimming pools, saunas etc ruin my hairpiece? PDF Print E-mail
Shampoo out the chlorine as soon as you can after contacting such water. Yes it will be bad for the hairpiece hair and also your own real hair, but if you love swimming etc. then enjoy the water and expect a shorter lifespan for the hairpiece. Don't worry about it too much.

Sauna heat is not hot enough to damage hair, but if you have synthetic hair or a lot of gray, avoid the initial heat blast when the rocks are splashed as that could be hot enough to damage synthetic. It won't harm the base. Adhesion will be compromised.
