How can I style my new hair without damaging it? PDF Print E-mail

Avoid brushing or combing wet hair as it can get plucked out in the process.

Do not use hot air hair dryers. If you must, use the lowest temperature possible. For synthetic hair including human hair with synthetic gray, use no heat at all.

Avoid blow drying with tension from a round brush and avoid using heated styling tools.

To protect the base, the best and safest tool you can buy is a vent or cushion brush that has stiff plastic bristles, widely spaced, each with a protective ball on the end. These cost anywhere from 1 to 10 dollars. You do need one! We highly recommend that you use such a brush, and nothing else! We will give you one free upon request with any hairpiece order.
