Thinning shears can be a useful tool for the blending in of the hair at the back and side edges of the hairpiece, but they should almost never be used elsewhere on the unit. If they are, you will still have the knots and short stubbly hairs from the removed hair and you will ruin the effect of your lovingly made CoolPiece work of art.

If your density is too high, send the unit in to CoolPiece for a factory adjustment. If a stylist approaches your unit with thinning shears, say "Stop!"
